I'm using AWB for a long time and .htaccess has no bugs. Works perfectly since my first installation. Do you use a standard configuration, or did you make any changes to URLs structure after installation?

Check if your server supports mod_rewrite. I used AWB on Hostgator once, and their servers didn't even support mod_rwrite (which is supported by free providers for years!!!!!!!!!)

chrishales, I already responded to your support ticket, but I see you included the content of your .htaccess file here (it wasn't included in the helpdesk), so I can see what is wrong.

You experience this problem because your .htaccess file is MODIFIED. Please download the installation package from our servers and compare its .htaccess file with your .htaccess file. You will see that the main line (which is responsible for search engine friendly URLs) is COMMENTED (put simply, you or someone else who has access to your website MANUALLY DISABLED short URLs).

Also, your file has tons of other modifications and doesn't even look like a valid .htaccess file.
